Welcome back to another installment of my Monthly Blogging Report series. I'm excited to reconnect with you all and share the latest developments from my journey in March 2024. Whether you've been following me from the beginning or just found me, I deeply appreciate your support.
As the month of March 2024 just came to a close, it's an opportune moment to reflect on the progress I’ve made over the past month.
How I Did This Month
- I finally made the leap and applied to Amazon Associates
- I tried to apply to Rakuten through Sephora’s affiliate link but I realized I likely had too few traffic to my website so I stopped the application process.
- I made my 30 days instagram plan
- I made my first affiliate product collage (I see these all over the internet and I love them but I’ve read that you aren’t allowed to use photos you don’t have permission to use due to copyright laws, but then I noticed on Pinterest that Amazon is PROMOTING influencers that create these types of pins. And not just influencers that create these pins, but they are actually promoting those product collage pins! And when I go to the influencer's Amazon storefront their storefronts are filled with these product collages. I highly doubt that each influencer is contacting the image owner for each product to get pre-approval to use these images. So, I have assumed that Amazon is okay with influencers that follow this practise- so I will too!
- Reach my goal of 90 posts! (Completed the 90 post challenge). Now that I’ve formed this blogging habit, I’ve learned so much! I can keep going 🙂
- Half way through the month, I started scheduling Pinterest pins using the Tailwind App. I aimed to have 2 pins being posted per day (that includes 1 for each new blog during the weekdays plus 1 new pin to an old post per weekday, and 2 each day on weekends.
- Signed up for InstaClubHub to help me start on Instagram
- Set up my instagram profile by changing username, name, description and created a link in bio page
As I navigate through this blogging journey, I am genuinely grateful for the chance to share my experiences, insights, and aspirations with you. I hope you gain a lot from witnessing my monthly progress and that it inspires you to start or continue on your own blogging journey.
