Hey there! Today, I'm going to share my personal journey with a rather intriguing beauty experiment – using face razors. I've always been curious about whether razoring my face could yield similar skin benefits to what I've experienced with shaving my legs. Could it leave my skin feeling soft, supple, and free from those pesky dead skin cells? Moreover, could it offer a solution to my mustache situation, which often requires more sugaring than I'd like? Well, I decided to put this curiosity to the test and bought a pack of razors. Here's how it all went down.

My Razoring Journey

I watched some YouTube videos that told me how to hold the blade, the direction to go, whether to use water or not, etc. Armed with this newfound knowledge, I gave it a shot.

At first, I must admit, it was a tad bit scary. The thought of a razor near my face had me on edge. But as I got going, it became easier. I started to get the hang of it. Tiny, fine dark hairs were building up on the razor in little clumps. I could already see a difference in the clarity of my skin. It looked brighter, and it definitely felt softer too.

The Results

  • Day 1-2: The initial days were promising. My skin looked good. However, there was a peculiar sensation - my skin felt somewhat numb to the touch. My theory, which may sound a bit quirky, is that those tiny hairs on your body somehow contribute to your sense of touch. So when they're gone, you don't feel things quite the same. Don't quote me on that, though!
  • Day 3 onwards: Here's where things got interesting. It was all about stubble, stubble, and more stubble! All I could feel was that pesky stubble, and I couldn't resist running my fingers over my face in different directions to check it out. Certain areas where I had darker, fine hairs now had visible stubble, especially around my upper lip and sideburns.
  • Day 7: And then, the pimples started to pop up. Oh, boy, did I get an unwelcome surprise! Bumps and pimples formed, mainly near my jawline and sideburns. Needless to say, I was far from impressed.

Conclusion: It's Not for Me

So, there you have it! My experiment with face razors was certainly an eye-opener, and while it might not have been my personal cup of tea, I can't help but appreciate the journey of discovery. It's a reminder that beauty routines are a very personal choice, and what works for one may not work for another.

If you're considering trying out face razors, I'd say go for it, but be prepared for the possible side effects. After all, beauty is about experimenting and finding what suits you best. Some people find that razoring their face enhances their makeup application and leaves their skin feeling exfoliated and soft, and if you already have a well-established daily routine, it might just fit right in.

As for me, I'll stick to my trusted beauty rituals and give my skin the TLC it deserves, steering clear of any razor sessions. Remember, the journey to radiant, healthy skin is all about finding what makes you feel confident and comfortable in your own skin.
